A sample screen from QUARTERjr for a typical Super Gas car running on the 9.90 index is included on this page. The input data includes general information about the weather conditions, and the weight and body style of the car. There is also engine power data, torque converter information, transmission gear ratios, final drive ratio and tire size. Any of these values may easily be changed using the simple editing features fully described in the QUARTERjr User's Manual.
The calculated QUARTERjr output includes a Timeslip just like you get at the dragstrip, and the complete Detailed Parameters including the Time, Distance, MPH, Acceleration (in g's), Gear and RPM at every point on the racetrack - just like the Pro's get from their on-board data recorders. |
