ENGINEjr is based on real world, high performance engine dyno results! It uses a comprehensive parametric model that has been calibrated against an extensive database of known high performance engine dyno data. Combined with published internal combustion engine theory and textbook fundamentals this approach results in quick, accurate estimates of what any engine's HP and torque potential are.

Sample ENGINEjr screens for a typical 355 Sportsman engine are included on this page. Inputs include the bore, stroke and connecting rod length, compression ratio, fuel type, camshaft specifications, intake valve diameter and cylinder head flow data, etc.

There are four powerful worksheets built-in for calculating compression ratio, estimating carb and throttle body flow ratings, predicting cylinder head flow, and calculating the critical minimum cross-section area at the intake valve throat. Any of the inputs may easily be changed using the editing features described in the ENGINEjr User's Manual.

The ENGINEjr estimated engine performance is located at the bottom of the input screen. It includes details on the peak HP and torque of your engine.
